TELEVISION: Apart from regional television, CP's last national appearance was on BBC 4's Rude Britannia (2010) and he was also a guest on BBC 4's Comedy Routes and Channel 4's The Secret Diaries of Les Dawson. Internationally, following the cult interest in CP's own TV series, Teach Yourself Gibberish which he wrote and performed in with Alberto Y Lost Trios Paranoias in the 1970s, he was invited as a guest panellist on Australia's Rockwiz in Melbourne (13 December 2008).

CP's stage show Sleak broke all box office records at London's Royal Court Theatre before transferring to the Roundhouse. As producer: CP won "Best Fringe Production" at Buxton Festival for Menotti's The Medium (1996)
AUTHOR: CP's latest book 'The Lost World of Cliff Twemlow' emerged from a collaborative interest in and research focus with fellow film historian colleague Andy Willis; together they examine and bring to life the films of the Man-Man-Man-Mancunian Cliff Twemlow who, as the title of the book suggests, was The 'KING OF MANCHESTER EXPLOITATION MOVIES'. CP's first book 'Like The Night Revisited' was based on the infamous Dylan 'Judas!' concert at Manchester's Free Trade Hall in 1966. Three other books followed, one more on Dylan entitled 'Like A Bullet of Light', one on Manchester Popular Music called 'Shake, Rattle and Rain', and his personal memoir published in 2008 'When We Were Thin. CP's contributions in books and periodicals including the Bob Dylan Isis Anthology, Tate Modern Remix Catalogue, the North West Labour History Journal and the Journal of British TV and Film.
RESEARCH: CP runs www.itsahotun.com a website dedicated to preserving the memory of the Mancunian Film Company which featured amongst its stars Frank Randle, George Formby and Norman Evans. CP Lee's professional interest in Comedy and Identity culminates in worldwide dissemination from research papers and, since 2007 he has facilitated an annual international Comedy Conference held at Salford and the Manchester Metropolitan University.
CONSULTANCY/PUBLIC SPEAKER: CP acts as consultant within the Heritage Industry eg exhibitions at the Salford and Lowry Museums, Manchester's Cornerhouse, Urbis and the 2009 International Festival (Jeremy Deller's Procession) and he frequently entertains historical society audiences with his talks and walks on Manchester's music and comedy history.

Since CP's Blues and Gospel Train documentary was broadcast on BBC Radio 4 last November, there has been more controversy over the location of this legendary concert. At a recent introduction to the film CP recounted visiting the scene in 2008 with the show's producer Johnnie Hamp. As always at the Q&A the question arose, wasn't the site at the current Morrisson's on Wilbraham Road in Chorlton? ... No, it wasn't!! Hopefully this Granada TV ticket from 1964* will settle once and for all that the venue for the recording was the disused Wilbraham Road Railway Station accessed at the end of Atholl Road. Latest: CP recently filmed an in-depth interview where he talked at length with Johnnie Hamp about his extraordinary life and career as someone who worked in television and show business for over sixty years.
